Dr. Richardson partners with Oral Surgeons such as Dr.’s Knoff, Fettig, and Naumann to provide you with the most comprehensive implant and restorative dentistry available. Dental implants are changing the way people live. The decision to replace missing teeth is a big one. You are evaluating both the function and the cosmetic replacement of your natural teeth. Implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person choosing dental implants to replace lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything while knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. Patients with dental implants can smile with confidence!

Really! It’s the CEREC CAD/CAM technology that gives me the ability to do this for you. Revolutionary to restorative dentistry, I can prep your tooth for a crown, onlay, or inlay, design it on the computer, mill it, and seat it for you. It’s very cool! I love providing this service to my patients. Some folks just relax in the dental chair while their restoration is milled. Some, though, like to watch the machine work. You can see it carve your restoration through a window on the front of the CEREC. It’s pretty amazing.

Yes, actually, you can! We put you on oxygen for about ten minutes before you go. This clears the nitrous oxide out of your system. Some people really do giggle. Do you have funny laughing gas story? Please share!

Come visit my hygienist at least twice a year! Truly, regular checkups partnered with good daily hygiene will help prevent tooth problems that may land you in _my _chair. You need to brush at least twice a day and floss everyday, preferably before bed to make sure your teeth are as clean as can be during the night. Cutting back on sugar really helps, too. Sugar promotes tooth decay. Also, at your hygiene appointment, we can often find small problems before they become big ones. Small problems usually don’t hurt, but big ones are likely to be very painful.

People always ask me this. I always say that the best tooth brush is the one you will use. :) However, I do like the sonic tooth brushes. My personal favorite brands are SonicCare and Braun Sonic Complete. These are what I and my family use and they do a good job. Do you have a fantastic toothbrush blog readers should know about? Leave a post…

Any of them are fine as long as it has fluoride in it and is non-abrasive. This includes most major brands. Choose one that you like the taste of! You’ll use it regularly and brush longer. Remember, brush at least twice a day! What’s your favorite? Share here!
